Be a DJ: scratch and rap!

Four stations where participants can play with voice feed and looping:

  • Microphone and Roland VT-1: Move the voice feed from one octave to the next
  • Microphone and Alesis Nanoverb: Create hall and echo for the voice feed
  • Roland Sp-303 Sampler: Create special effects and soundscapes
  • Yamaha DJXII: A great big disco machine

Wow!

Today, music pieces are often created digitally, either in studios or at home on the computer. The voice and other sounds can be alienated, be put in loops and modified. Have fun experimenting with your friends!
