Light 'N Sound Concerts
A kindergarten or elementary school project for up to 120 children
In this project, the challenges for children are few and the results are wonderful – a choreographed presentation of lights and sound in a dark room!
Michael Bradke visits each kindergarten, school class or any other group that wants to participate for 60 to 90 minutes to lead an instrument-building session and an introduction to the project (2-4 groups per day).
Every group (made up of 10-20 children) is given the same kind of lit-up musical instrument and rehearses a short, choreographed set of movements (1-3 minutes long). Michael Bradke provides the instruments or, with older age groups, builds them together with the children.
